International Scholarships

At the University of Ottawa, each faculty is allocated a budget for international students. Each faculty holds their own competition with their own criteria; scholarships are awarded in accordance with the faculty’s priorities until the funds are depleted. An admission average of 8.0 / 10 is required.

Master's - International students

Your file must be recommended to the Office of the Vice-Provost, Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, by the faculty to which you have submitted an admission’s application.

Eligible programs for the international scholarship are the same as the admission scholarship.

Full International Scholarship - Master's $15,000 / year at least $7,500 / year

Master’s with thesis: 2 years

Differential tuition fee exemption for new students beginning in the 2014-2015 (May 2014) academic year or later

The differential tuition fee exemption reduces tuition fees to those paid by Canadian citizens and Permanent residents.

Doctorate - International students
